Accessibility statement
What we have done, what we know we have not, and how to tell us when something does not work.

Our commitment
The SPAH Experience wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced motion settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What this site does
- Color contrast. Every text and background pairing used on the site was checked against the WCAG contrast formula before it shipped. Body text runs at roughly 14.7:1 against the page background, well past the 4.5:1 requirement, and the brand teal is used decoratively rather than as body-size text precisely because it does not meet that bar at small sizes.
- Keyboard access. Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, focus is never removed, and a visible focus outline is always shown. A “skip to main content” link is the first thing in the tab order on every page.
- Semantic structure. Pages use real headings in order, real lists, real tables with header cells, and landmark regions, so screen readers can navigate by structure rather than by guessing.
- Text size. Body text is set at 17-18px with generous line spacing, rather than the more common 16px, and the layout reflows properly when text is enlarged.
- Images. Every meaningful image has descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked so assistive technology skips them.
- Motion. There is no autoplaying media, no parallax, no scroll-driven animation and no forced smooth scrolling — anchor links jump instantly, the way the browser intends.
- Touch targets. Buttons and links are sized to at least 44×44 pixels.
- Expandable content. The FAQ accordions use native browser disclosure elements, so they work with assistive technology without relying on JavaScript, and their answers are present in the page whether expanded or not.
Known limitations
- Our booking platform is a third-party site. Every booking link opens spahexperience.glossgenius.com in a new tab. We do not control that platform’s accessibility. If you have difficulty booking there, call (214) 732-1192 and we will take the booking details another way.
- Booking links open in a new tab because they leave this site. Each one is labeled for screen readers so the behavior is announced rather than surprising.
- This site has not been through a formal third-party accessibility audit.
Physical access to the studio
The studio is a private treatment suite on the second floor of Mattison Avenue Salon & Spa, at 7700 West Northwest Highway, Suite 720, Studio 271. The building has two public entrances, and the entrance next to the Cheesecake Factory has both stairs and an elevator — use that one if stairs are difficult. The second entrance is down a white corridor next to Keke’s Restaurant. Restrooms are on the left as you come in, before the stairs. Full detail is on the directions page.
We do not control the building, so for specific questions about entrances, parking or facilities on the day, please call ahead and we will find out rather than guess.
If traveling to the studio is difficult for any reason, in-home massage is available for Express Massage, Full Body Massage and Prenatal Massage across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas, at the same prices.
Booking without using this website
You never have to use this website to become a client. Call (214) 732-1192 and everything can be arranged by phone.
Tell us if something does not work
If you hit a barrier on this site — something a screen reader will not read, a control you cannot reach with a keyboard, text you cannot enlarge — we would genuinely like to know. Call (214) 732-1192 or use the contact form, and tell us what page you were on and what happened. We will fix what we can and tell you honestly if something is outside our control.
