The SPAH Experience began as an in-home practice, and for most of its seventeen years that is all it was. The studio came later, and it exists for two reasons: some clients simply prefer to leave the house, and three treatments on the menu genuinely cannot be performed anywhere else.
It is a private treatment studio — Suite 720, Studio 271 — inside Mattison Avenue Salon & Spa, which is a salon and spa housing a number of independent practitioners. That is worth understanding before your first visit, because it is not a retail spa with a lobby and a reception desk. There is no front desk to check in at and no walk-in trade. You book in advance, you come to the suite at your appointment time, and the session begins.
The location is the Lincoln Park Center, off West Northwest Highway, across from NorthPark Center. It is easy to reach and genuinely not obvious to find the first time, so read the directions before a first appointment — the building has two separate entrances and only one of them is the convenient one depending on where you park.

The stone heater holds a controlled water temperature, and the two body treatments need facilities a home does not have. These three are the reason the studio exists.

Before your first visit
Two entrances, and neither is signposted for you
Mattison Avenue Salon & Spa has two ways in. One is next to the Cheesecake Factory and has both stairs and an elevator. The other is down a white corridor next to Keke’s Restaurant. Either gets you there; which one you want depends on where you park and whether you would rather take the elevator.
The directions page covers both routes properly, along with where the restrooms are and how to find the second floor. It is a five-minute read that saves a stressful ten minutes on the day.

Can I walk in?
No. The studio is by appointment only. It is a private treatment studio inside another business rather than a retail spa with a reception desk, so appointments are booked in advance through the booking site.
Which services are available at the studio?
All six. Express Massage, Full Body Massage and Prenatal Massage are available both at the studio and in-home. Hot Stone Massage, Luxury Full Body Polish and Hydrating Body Wrap are studio-only, because they need equipment and facilities that do not travel.
Is the studio hard to find?
It can be on a first visit, because it is a suite inside another business and the building has two separate entrances — one next to the Cheesecake Factory with stairs and an elevator, and one down a white corridor next to Keke's Restaurant. The directions page walks through both routes step by step. Allow a few extra minutes the first time.
How early should I arrive?
A few minutes before your appointment is plenty, and more like ten on a first visit so you have time to find the suite. Intake forms and waivers are completed in advance through the booking link, so there is no paperwork to do on arrival.
What are the studio's hours?
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Tuesday and Sunday are closed. All appointments are by appointment only.
